Being a Writer!

I have to say that it is a selfish profession being a writer. Selfish and a bit arrogant. I mean, how arrogant is it to think people will want to read your words, and selfish because a writer so enjoys their own words so much, that it doesn’t really matter if anyone else does. Actually that isn’t really true. We want our stories to speak to readers, to make even the smallest impression on them. But I do really enjoy putting the words together. Words to me are like notes of music. When they go together well, it is like hearing a song. Hope you have a good book to read today.
